Testimonials

Coach K,

I would like to say thank-you for the outstanding job you did with Alex and all the other attendees. I have never seen a group of kids improve that dramatatically in such a short period of time. Some of the swings they had at the start of your clinic were horrible. I thought some of the kids were never going to "get it." But, to my amazement, every boy in your school had developed a decent swing. Some developed incredible compact, quick, and powerful strokes with solid contact most of the time. You are, in my opinion, one of the few true authorities on hitting. I have read dozens of books and viewed many videos on hitting and no one comes close to you in understanding the true mechanics of hitting. Keep up the good work and both Alex and I look forward to seeing you again.

Sincerely,
Dr. Larry Shell

Dear Mr. Krupnick:

I attended the two day baseball clinic that you participated in. Your presentations and demonstrations on hitting were the most defined and thorough I have ever witnessed. I have been to many baseball clinics, but have never been so impressed with your knowledge and ability to teach the art of hitting. I have seen your video "Teaching and Learning the Art of Hitting". Currently my high school team is practicing indoors and we are using the step by step method of hitting off the tee, to strengthen our hitting. I can see improvement in our players bat speed and power already. In addition, the players who attended the clinic and mini-hitting camp have a better understanding of what hitting is all about. The team and myself are anxiously awaiting the weather to improve, so that we can move outdoors for practice and games and see the benefits of our practice.

I personally recommend this video to all coaches interested in teaching better hitting.

Sincerely,

Dear Harvey,

I wanted to touch base with you again this year to reserve a space at your batting school for my daughter Sarah. We would like to attend the first or second week of March '97.

I also wanted to bring you up to date on how Sarah did this past season. As you know we spent the first week of March 1996 at your batting school for the fourth consecutive year. Sarah loves the school and looks forward to it every year. She works extremely hard and has a great passion for the game of baseball. Sarah played the majors for the Marlins Little League in Walpole. She batted .480 during the regular season, batting third in the line - up. Her team had a record of 26 -4. Because her team was 1st or second in league standing all year she always faced the biggest and fastest pitchers in the league. Your method of hitting has put her in the top 10 hitters in the majors. She ended up with 9 doubles, 4 triples, and 4 home runs over the 3rd base fence. When people in the stands watched her swing, they were amazed her bat was so fast for a girl. Well, this punching method works in our house, she was selected to play on the 12 yr. old Williamsport All Stars. In her 1st game against the Norwood All Stars, she blasted 2 laser beams down the line for two triples. She went on to bat .440 for the Summer League.

During the same period this past summer she played for the Walpole Junior Rebels, a 14 and under fast pitch junior olympic softball team. Her bat speed and short swing again proved itself, she batted second on the card and struck out a total of 6 times with 89 at bats . . . "Not bad". All I can say, is your batting school along with hard work has really paid off for Sarah. We hope someday you can be her guest at the 2006 Olympic Games, ha. ha.

Thanks Again,

Dear Harvey,

This past Spring, I enrolled my 10-year-old son, Dennis (Denny) in your week-long program of instructional batting practice. On the first day of your program, I showed you a photograph of Denny taken while he was in the process of hitting a baseball during a ball game. The photograph showed how he dropped his elbow, which I suspected was the source of his hitting difficulties.

It took Denny longer than many of the other boys in your program that week to learn what your were teaching him about hitting a baseball. Towards the end of the week, however, he seemed to be getting the hang of it. While I am sure he is still not doing everything you showed him correctly all of the time, enough of your teaching from that Spring program stuck with him throughout both the Summer and Fall baseball travel seasons to enable him to consistently hit the ball, no matter what the velocity of the pitch was.

One of the assistant coaches for Denny's Fall baseball team kept batting statistics on the players. I though you might be pleased to see Denny's batting average (520), which was the best on the team. I believe your program gave him a much-needed sound foundation which enabled him to consistently hit the ball with confidence.

Please send me your newest brochure so I may sign Denny up for one of your 2002 hitting programs.

Your Truly,

Richard J. Poliferno
